ISHRAE SPONSORED PROJECT

Guidelines for Submission of Proposals

  1. Projects should meet widely and acutely felt needs of the industry.
  2. These should generate basic data , system practices, proceduce, standards and give guidelines that benefit the entire industry.
  3. The project may emanate from an individual member or a group of members or even by a chapter. The proposal should furnish the names of the members of the team which will be undertaking the project in case it is from a group of members or a chapter.
  4. Project could also emanate from individual research worker or a small team of research workers who do not nurse any commercial aspirations and who may not be even members of ISHRAE.
  5. ISHRAE associated projects must not favour any particular manufacturer, contractor or a group of them seeking assistance of ISHRAE.
  6. The detailed break-up of the budgeted cost is to be furnished in the proposal. It is understood that ISHRAE will extend financial support to only a portion of the budgeted cost of the project. The proposal must therefore indicate the means of procuring the total budgeted cost of the project and the expected period of completion. The balance funds could be provided by the chapter, the Trust of the chapter or even by sponsors from the industry.
  7. It is possible that the project proposed may extend during the next financial year. In case the project is approved, part of the fund may be allocated during the current financial year and if possible a part may be allocated during the next financial year depending on the allocation of fund by ISHRAE in the next financial year.
